Bülent Akgerman, 1969’da İzmir’de doğdu. Orta öğrenimini  Robert Kolej’de, lisans derecesini Bilkent Üniversitesi’nde Turizm ve İşletme branşlarında tamamladı. Akgerman kariyerine 1989’da Çimentaş Turistik İşletmeler A.Ş.’de (Çittur’da) enformasyon memuru olarak başladı. Kendisi aynı şirketin Yönetim Kurulu Başkanlığını yapıyor.

Önceki senelerde Çimbeton A.Ş., Dost Sigorta A.Ş. ve Doğal Gaz Dağıtım A.Ş.’de Y.K. Üyeliği; Genç İşadamları Holding A.Ş., AKG Gazbeton A.Ş ve Ertuğ Balık Üretim A.Ş.’de Y.K. Başkan Vekilliği; More Dış Ticaret A.Ş. ve Çimstone A.Ş.’de Y.K. Başkanlığı görevlerinde bulunmuştur.

Akgerman halen Keiretsu Forum Türkiye Y.K. Üyeliği; Urla Şarapçılık A.Ş., Rekmar Reklamcılık A.Ş.’de Y.K. Bşk. Vekilliği ve  Çittur’a ek olarak Enigma A.Ş. ve AKG Trading UK Ltd şirketinde Y.K. Başkanlığı görevlerine devam ediyor.

EBSO ve İZTO geçmişte meclis üyeliklerinde bulunmuş olan Akgerman, STK ve Vakıflarda da 30 yıldır aktif görevler almaktadır. SEDEFED, EGİAD ve ESİAD’da Başkanlık; TURKONFED ve EAYK’ta Bşk. Yardımcılığı; UNICEF TR ve Endeavor TR’de Y.K. Üyeliği yapmıştır. Akgerman halen ESİAD Yüksek İstişare Kurulunda, Chaine des Rotisseurs İzmir’de, İzmir Şarap Derneğinde Başkanlık; TABA-AmCham, ÇESVAK ve Ege Orman Vakfı’nda Y.K. Üyelik görevlerine devam ediyor.

İrlanda’nın Ege Bölgesi Fahri Konsolosu ve JCI Senatörü olan Bülent Akgerman İtalya Yıldızı Nişanı ile onurlandırılmıştır.

Bülent Akgerman was born in 1969 in İzmir. He completed his secondary education at Robert College and earned his bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Business Administration from Bilkent University. Akgerman began his career in 1989 as an information officer at Çimentaş Turistik İşletmeler A.Ş. (Çittur). He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of the same company.

In previous years, he has held positions as a Board Member at Çimbeton A.Ş., Dost Sigorta A.Ş., and Doğal Gaz Dağıtım A.Ş.; Vice Chairman of the Board at Genç İşadamları Holding A.Ş., AKG Gazbeton A.Ş., and Ertuğ Balık Üretim A.Ş.; and Chairman of the Board at More Dış Ticaret A.Ş. and Çimstone A.Ş.

Akgerman is currently a Board Member of Keiretsu Forum Turkey, Vice Chairman of the Board at Urla Şarapçılık A.Ş. and Rekmar Reklamcılık A.Ş., and continues to serve as Chairman of the Board at Enigma A.Ş. and AKG Trading UK Ltd, in addition to his role at Çittur.

He has also been involved with EBSO and İZTO as a former council member and has actively participated in NGOs and foundations for over 30 years. He has held the positions of President at SEDEFED, EGİAD, and ESİAD; Vice President at TURKONFED and EAYK; and Board Member at UNICEF Turkey and Endeavor Turkey. Akgerman continues to serve as a President of the High Advisory Board at ESİAD, President of Chaine des Rotisseurs İzmir, President of the İzmir Wine Association, and a Board Member at TABA-AmCham, ÇESVAK, and the Aegean Forest Foundation.

Bülent Akgerman is the Honorary Consul of Ireland for the Aegean Region and a JCI Senator. He has been honored with the Order of the Star of Italy.
